IGCSE Maths Year 11
Welcome to year 11 IGCSE Mathematics page
Term One Message
Dear Parents and Students,
On behalf on Ms. Jabeen, Ms. Fatemeh, Mr. Johan and Mr. Tarek, and myself, Ms.Marisol we welcome you to your IGCSE mathematics class in the 2018-2019 academic year. With your hard work and our commitment to provide a high quality learning environment, we are looking forward to a great year together.
The Year 11 students are following the IGCSE Cambridge Curriculum Mathematics focusing on a number of skills that are distributed through term 1, term 2 and term 3 will include study leave as a preparation for the IGCSE exam. Throughout term 1 and term 2, students will be given many opportunities to demonstrate their understanding of the skills delivered.
Success in this class is based on many factors and the most two important are the student's attendance and understanding of the skills delivered. Students are encouraged to actively participate during class and follow up with homework at home. When confused, please make sure you ask questions during or after class as we all apply the open door policy.
Finally, kindly note that the best way to know what is happening in our math classes is to check our Year 11 Math google site which is updated on weekly basis. For further questions or if you would like to make an appointment with your son's/daughter's teacher, please contact the secondary school secretary to set a date.
Thank you and wish you the best luck,
Mrs. Jabeen, Mrs. Marisol, Ms. Fatemeh, Mr. Johan and Mr. Tarek
